Born and raised in the city over 35 years ago I married into the rural life a little frightened. Used to city noise, the rural areas were a bit too quiet for me. Of course there were the birds, frogs, stillness but these were basically new to me since city noise hides all of that.
Now I embrace the hooting owls and croaking frogs, hug each chick that I can catch before leaving them for the night and try my hand at new recipes, hobbies and playing fun and educational games with the grandchildren. Including trying out some of all those pins on Pinterest as well as any hobbies the Littles and me do and trying to be more self sufficient.
This is our adventures, 35 years in the making.
